Concealer Haul, Swatches, and Review!

Happy Monday friends! I’m so sorry I took some time off from posting, it has been quite a busy couple of months for our little family. I hope you are all doing well! I am so thankful for the beautiful weather we have had so far and thankful life is beginning to head back to normal. I desperately needed a few weeks to myself to just breathe. Is it just me or has everyone needed a break? It has been so nice to take a step back from social media and just be, live, and enjoy each day.

Over the past few weeks, there have been so many sales going on so I took this time to order things that have been on my wish list! What have you girls been eyeing up? I have been in a concealer kick. Foundation has been a love of mine for a long time but since all the lockdowns and being at home more, I have noticed, I rarely put on a full face of makeup. Concealer has been my go-to for an easy everyday lifestyle. That, and some good skincare!

Ok, so the items I picked up on my wish list were:

Make Up Forever Ultra HD Concealer – This one is a Katie Jane Huges favorite!! If you follow her on Instagram you would see, she uses it just about every day, so obviously I had to pick one up! Lol I picked up the shade 21, this seems to be a shade that works for alot of people so I’m def excited to add this to my new daily routine! This concealer is a light to medium coverage with a creamy dewy consistency but dries down to more of a velvety finish.

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer – I have tried this concealer in the past and never really loved it but I think it was because I had the wrong shade. The color choice is everything when it comes to concealers! This time around I picked up the shade Madeleine, this seems like it will fit my skin tone better. This is more of a medium to full coverage concealer with a velvety finish. Great for a date night out or long workdays!

Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer – I have never used this concealer but have always wanted to try it out so I figured why not add it to my shopping bag? haha I know alot of makeup artists swear by this concealer so here we go! It seems to be a medium to full coverage concealer. Definitely has a velvety finish. Looks gorgeous on the skin and is great at concealing! I love this for the face, not my favorite under my eyes. I have a dryer skin texture so it seems to be too drying under my eyes. If you have more of a normal/combination/oily skin type this will work just fine under your eyes!

Armani Power Fabric Concealer – this is a holy grail concealer for me! This was a repurchase, I have used and loved this concealer for years. It is so creamy and sets so beautifully on the skin. If you were contemplating trying this one, I would say, definitely give it a go! It feels so lightweight but does a beautiful job of concealing, and has amazing longevity! I love this under eyes or as a face base in place of foundation! It is flawless. I will never be without this one.
