June Favorites
June has been a month of keeping it super simple. A moisturizer, a lot of SPF, and a little color! These are a few of the things I have been leaning toward in June!
For moisturizer, I have been loving my Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Creme. This moisturizer is formulated for sensitive skin, including avocado and jojoba, Vitamin E and Aloe! It is lightweight and hydrating. Perfect for summer skin. This is a great lightweight moisturizer that can work for all skin types.
SPF is super important this time of year, especially up here in NY! I have been loving my Dermalogica Prisma Protect SPF 30 as well as my Dermalogica Solar Defense SPF 50. These are lightweight SPF’s that work really well alone or under your makeup. They have a creamy texture and smell like summer with a hint of citrus.
For complexion, I have been loving my Glossier Stretch Concealer. I have been using shades 9 and 10. I use this all over my face as a lightweight foundation and under my eyes as a great concealer. This product is great for normal to dry skin types. It is super hydrating and has very light coverage. I love this for everyday use.
Color has been the most fun this month. I have several Nudestix cream blushes and I have been loving using them on my eyes, lips, and cheeks! My go-to colors have been Beach babe and Salty Siren. They both have a coral pink undertone and give you a flush of color as if you had just got a light summer rosy tan. I love the texture of these cream blushes. They are super pigmented and have a unique matte / balmy formula. I love them. They blend out super easily, making this a great product to keep in your handbag for touch-ups.
Bronzer is always my favorite piece of my makeup kit! I have been going back and forth with cream and powder bronzers this month but I have been loving my Bobbi Brown Medium Bronzer. It is super long-lasting, a perfect warm tone for summer, and I love using this on my eyes as well. It is a great eyeshadow color!
Above is the Glossier Stretch Concealer. The swatch on the left side is G10, as you can tell this one is more of a pinky undertone. The swatch on the left is G9, this one has more of a warm/neutral undertone. Both can work for my skin type, there is not a huge difference in color when I blend it out but I wanted you guys to see the difference in shades!
These are my go to’s this month! Salty Siren on the left in both pictures and Beach Babe on the right in both pictures! Both stunning summer colors! These look gorgeous on the lips, eyes, and cheeks!
These were just a few items I have been loving, what were your go-to products for this June?
