Lasting Liner
Lets be honest, most liners are half gone by the end of the day. We touch our eyes, our eyes water through out the day and some liners just don’t work well…But One of my favorite secrets to keeping my liner or my clients liner on all day is double lining the eye! Double lining is when you use your regular eye liner (in a pencil or gel form) , let dry and then apply a second powder liner on top to set the liner. It’s simple and it’s easy. Here are a few simple things you will need to get started :
- Eye liner of your choice : Pencil or Pot of Gel
- any single eye shadow or Eye shadow palette with matching colors
- an liner brush
Apply the liner in whatever shape or style you like and then take the eyeshadow and apply it directly over the liner with a small liner brush or smudge brush. One thing I personally love to do is smudge out the shadow past the liner to give a soft smokey effect. This creates a romantic , smothering eye look. I love it for a brides wedding day, dinner night out, or even a work look! Its super easy and takes no time at all.
