March Favorites!
Because March was a little bit of a crazy, stressful month I don’t have a full list of makeup favorites, but I do have a great list of skincare that has been my go-to during this difficult time. My skin has been freaking out a bit so I have been loving all things gentle and clearing.
March Favorite top 5 makeup pieces:
- Foundation – My good ol’ Mac face and Body in C1 – I truly love this foundation, it’s super lightweight and natural-looking and my favorite part about it is that it dries down to a natural finish. It stays in place all day so I have a sheer to light coverage that evens out my skin tone without feeling wet or greasy.
- Concealer – My RMS uncover up concealer in 00 – great for a hydrated creamy medium coverage concealer. Works really well to help conceal any discoloration and add brightness!
- Blush – My Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Powder Pink. I absolutely love this product and would recommend this to EVERYONE! It is a great way to add a hydrated natural brownie/pink flush to the skin. It can be used on cheeks and lips too! It is one of my all-time favorite products.
- Bronzer – Marc Jacobs bronzer in Tan-Tastic – This is a beautiful matte finish bronzer that gives a lovely natural warmth to the skin. I use this all over for warmth but also love using this as an eyeshadow! Great for a lazy girl day!
- Lastly, I would have to say my Covergirl Lash Blast Mascara. I have tried a lot of mascaras in my time and none really come close to this one for me. It gives volume and separates the lashes super well without clumping or fallout. Great everyday affordable mascara.
March Skincare Favorites :
- Cleanser – My go-to Fresh Soy Face Cleanser – a great everyday face wash! This product takes off all your makeup ( even your mascara!! ) and does a great job of leaving your skin feeling clean and hydrated! I have very dry dehydrated skin so this one was a win for me from the start, and it smells like a dream!
- Serum – I have been using my Drunk Elephant B – Hydra Serum as well as my Avéne Hydrance Intense Rehydrating Serum. These are great to soothe, calm, and help restore moisture to your skin. Love these two so far.
- Exfoliator – my go-to Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant. This is a great way to gently but effectively remove dead surface skin.
- Masks – I have been loving the BareMinerals Dirty Detox Mask. I have been using this one for years. It does a great job of gently exfoliating and clearing out pores without making your skin feeling dehydrated and dry. I have also tried the Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Rescue Mask this past month and loved this one as well, it really targets dull, rough, and uneven skin for a smoother, brighter complexion – leaving the skin clean, soft, and supple!
- Moisturizer – I have been going back and forth between my Dermalogica Intense Moisture Cream for nights and the Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Face Cream for the mornings. They have really been helping to soothe and hydrate my dry sad skin!
I hope you enjoyed my little list! If you have any questions, shoot me an email!
I pray all of you are safe and well during this crazy time! Have a great week!
