Top 4 Radiant Complexion Round Up

When I think of radiant skin I reach for glowing, cheery complexion products. A healthy glow can really elevate any makeup application. For me, a radiant complexion is the foundation to a great makeup application.

My go-to complexion pieces are always the ones that leave your skin looking hydrated, plump, fresh, and glowy!

Before I start, I have to say, a moisturizer is key! This is one of the most important steps of radiant skin. When your skin is dry and/or dehydrated you could apply the most expensive foundation in the world and it would make no difference, you have to start with proper skincare. When your skin is hydrated properly, your makeup products will glide on and do the job they were meant to do.

So let’s get into it!

There are so so many products on the market right now that can help enhance your glow but I have a few that have been my favorite by far.

The Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter – This is a lovely product. It is a faux facial in a bottle, truly! I use this alone on happy skin days with concealer, under foundation as a primer, and over foundation as a highlighter at times. This is creamy, blendable, and leaves your skin with a “glowing from within” look, like you just had a facial. There are no glitter chunks, there is no patchiness, just creamy sheeny goodness. This is perfect for all skin types!

The Supergoop Glowscreen – This is very similar to the Hollywood flawless filter except for the fact that this product has SPF 40 in there! So great for beach days when you don’t want to wear foundation but you want a radiant complexion! Also a great product for all skin types.

The Kevyn Aucoin Glass Glow Face Illuminator – This product is perfect for normal to dry skin types. It is like a face gloss that leaves you with super hydrated, glowing, wet, glass skin! You could use this before foundation to prep your complexion or after foundation as a wet hydrated highlighter.

Last but not least, my all-time favorite, the Bobbi Brown Extra Illuminating Moisture Balm. This has been a favorite of mine for over 5 years. This is more of a skincare/makeup hybrid product. You can wear this under foundation for an all-over burst of moisture and glow, as well as over your foundation as a highlighter. This is a rich balm. It is more like a buttery texture. Great for dry tired skin!
