Sephora Haul & First Impressions
August was a fun month, Filled with Birthday Surprises and Cake! I received gift cards from my family for my favorite place to shop, Sephora, and I could not be more excited! I have had a few items on my wish list that I have been dying to try! So I used my gift cards, some birthday money, and went shopping! ( Online of course… LOL )

The Fenty Beauty Slip Shine Lipstick was a makeup artist’s favorite since it launched. I have heard so many girls raving about this for weeks now so I knew it was something I had to get my hands on! And let me tell you, the product was worth the hype! I have never used anything like it before, its like a buttery gloss on the lips. It truly feels like skincare for your lips but with pigment! I purchased the shade “Make Out Break” which is a subtle brownie nude. It Is gorgeous. It is a great everyday shade! I have been loving it with a lip liner. It is a little light for my skin tone but with a liner, it makes a beautiful fall nude.
The Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Cream Bronzer was also one of those products makeup artists were raving about on social media. I have so many cream bronzers at this point but I loved the unique shades Fenty was coming out with so I gave it a try! I purchased the shade “Butta Biscuit”. This shade is perfect for a super natural, subtle bronze. Honestly, I love this formula. It is creamy but also dries down so you are not left feeling tacky. The product is more sheer so it is easily buildable, perfect for not overdoing your bronzer. I do love this shade. I feel like it is the most perfect bronzer shade for my skin tone. I think this will also work as I get more pale throughout winter as well! Overall, I am definitely happy I purchased this, so far I am loving it!
Armani Beauty Power Fabric Concealer is a concealer that I have had on my wish list for over a year! I have heard so many good things about it and couldn’t wait to try this myself. Although there are so so many concealers out there and so many different formulas to choose from I have to say, I am loving this so far! I usually use my RMS uncoverup concealer but this is lovely. It is a very unique formula, very silky, creamy, and blendable. I would say this is more of a medium to full coverage concealer. I really like it! It dries down without looking dry or cakey, also blends out seamlessly. I now know why its a makeup artist favorite.
Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Foundation is by far the star of the show today! I can’t believe I have never purchased this foundation before! This foundation is stunning. The formula is like a dream. It almost feels like a cloud on the skin, silky smooth, and again blends out seamlessly. This foundation is everything I was looking for in a full coverage foundation, lightweight, blendable, high coverage but still skin-like, and long-lasting! This is it, girls, the best full coverage foundation award goes to Armani Luminous silk! If you haven’t tried this, I urge you, don’t walk but run to grab a bottle! It comes in two sizes, I got the smaller one just to try it but I will be purchasing the full size when I finish this one!
Fresh Soy Face Cleanser is a skincare product I was just refilling. I have loved and used this for over a year now and I don’t think I’ll ever turn back. If you haven’t tried this, I would highly recommend it! It removes all your makeup ( even mascara ) and leaves your skin feeling clean, fresh, but also hydrated. This is a forever product for me.
OUAI Scalp and Body Scrub is a beautiful two in one product. I use a lot of hair products like dry shampoo and I was looking for something that could help with that as well as a body scrub that would help remove any dry skin on my body. I love that this gently does both. I also love that it saves me from buying two products and displaying two products in my bathroom. Saves me space and money – win-win! I also love the scent, its refreshing and not overpowering.
Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Primer has been an all-time favorite hair product for me for years. This product is a frizz-fighting leave-in treatment that detangles, protects, and conditions dry, coarse, or brittle hair, and helps to provide moisture and UV and heat protection. What I love most about this product is that it conditions my hair, leaves it soft and silky without weighing it down at all.
Nécessaire The Body Lotion – Fragrance-Free is a new, clean product to Sephora. I was excited about this product because it is to be like a skincare product but for the whole body. Our skin is the largest organ of the body so we have to protect it and keep it safe as it protects and keeps us safe! This body lotion is filled with Vitamins B3, A, C, and E to moisturize and nourish the skin. It also has Omegas 6 and 9 to support the skin. So far I am loving it! It feels super hydrating but also is fast absorbing which I love. I hate being left sticky! I also love that it is fragrance-free so you are free to go about your day wearing your favorite perfume without any interaction.
Lastly, Four Sigmatic Mushroom Coffee Mix is a product I have been researching for a few months now. I first heard about it from my favorite health and fitness YouTuber Sam Ozkural. I love that Sephora is starting to carry things for women’s health as well! This coffee is a morning beverage to support productivity, focus, and creativity. So far I am really enjoying it. It takes just like a bold coffee. I will continue to mix it into my daily routine and let you know any results I may have!
