February Favorites 

Can you believe it’s March? I was so not ready for February to be over! It’s crazy how fast time is flying by! So last week I realized it was the last week of the month so I did a little round up of some of my favorites that I reached for the most this past month. 

Skincare wise, I used a ton of the Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Moisturizer and the Weleda Skinfood. The Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Moisturizer is a rich gel-cream formula. It works well with all skin types and smells like a fresh bouquet of Roses! I loved using this moisturizer before bed. I would cleanse my skin and massage in a nice dollop of this cream on my face, neck, and decollete. When I woke up in the morning my skin felt and looked amazing – Super hydrated and glowing! I would definitely recommend trying this product if you haven’t already!  The Weleda Skin Food is a beautiful moisturizer to use if you have dry skin like me, I apply a thin layer before my makeup and it gives great moisture and shine to my skin. I love that it works well on all skin, your face, hands, feet, anywhere! It’s a great all in one product to have in your makeup bag for dry skin! 

Now for my favorite makeup pieces of the month!! 

Primer – I have been loving the Bobbi Brown Illuminating Moisture Balm – I have been super dry so this has been a life saver for me. It’s Super creamy, almost like a rich moisturizer but with a beautiful bronze pearly sheen to it. I love this under and over foundation. You can use this product to prep your skin before foundation – this will give you a lit from within look –  you can mix this with your foundation – this will make your foundation more creamy and glowy – or you can use this over foundation as a highlighter or to refresh your base during the day. It’s by far one of my favorite products from Bobbi Brown other than their foundation!

Foundation – Speaking of Bobbi Brown foundation , I have been using the Bobbi Brown Stick Foundation a ton this month. It is a creamy foundation with medium to full coverage and dries down to a natural finish. I loved having the extra coverage this month on my skin! During super cold dry months my skin needs a little extra help! Ugh! 

Concealer – Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Concealer – This concealer …. I have never found anything like it, I’m obsessed! I just started using this last month. I wanted to take some time to  play with it before I did a review on it and after working with it for a couple weeks, I have to say, I love it! It gives an airbrushed , flawless, brightening effect! It’s stunning! It makes you look like you have a photo filter on your skin at all times, I don’t know how they did it! The formula is creamy, dries down to a matte finish, and is self setting. Great for all skin types I would say. It is a MUST try if you haven’t already! I am so so excited to have this in my makeup kit! I think this may be my new favorite concealer. 

Bronzer –  Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel – This is a cream broner great for light to medium skin tones. It blends out super easy and has a beautiful natural finish. I love this bronzer not only because its glorious formula but the shade itself is so perfect. It doesn’t leave the skin looking muddy or too red. It gives the perfect sun kissed glow! I also have to say, this product does have a hefty price tag on it ( $50 ) but I have had this product for 2 years now and I’m nowhere near hitting pan. You get a lot of bang for your buck in this product! 

Blush –  Nudestix “In The Nude” Cream Blush – These cream blushes are some of my favorite blush formulas! They are super blendable, creamy, and have a high color pay off! They are super natural colors too! I have a few of them and each one looks stunning on the skin! I love these for a hydrated, dewy, flush of color! 

Lips –  I’m Still going strong with my favorite lip liners , the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Liner – It is such a perfect pinky nude shade! This also is SUPER long lasting, perfect for days when you don’t want to worry about your lipstick! I’ve been topping my liner with the Bare Minerals Buttercream Gloss in Sugar. I love this gloss formula because it’s exactly what it says – Buttery! It is a beautiful formula and a perfect nude pink shade! Great for hydrating your lips on super dry days.
