My Current Everyday Favorites You Have To Try!
My skin has been acting up lately, I’m not sure if it’s the seasons changing or what…I have redness, patchiness, congestion, and dryness… it’s a mess! I have been on a hunt for a good everyday base that is glowing and still long-lasting!
After 2 months, trying new everything… I have found a base I absolutely LOVE!
I think these are products you will love too, so I thought I’d share the pieces I can’t get enough of!
Let’s start with skin prep! I have been using the Fresh Tea Elixir Serum and have almost used a whole jumbo bottle of it. It has really been a lovely nourishing and soothing formula. My skin is loving this serum! I top that off with the Avene Hydrance INTENSE Rehydrating Serum which has been a go-to of mine for years. It is the texture of a super light moisturizer but gives such intense hydration. Absolutely a favorite skincare item for me, if you have dry or dehydrated skin – it is a must-have! Lastly, I have been applying the Saie Glowy Super Gel in the shade Star Glow! This is like applying water to the skin! It feels hydrating, gives a gorgeous subtle glow, and dries down so the glow lasts all day! Because I have been so dry, these first steps make all the difference in my makeup application! I just add all the hydration and glow without adding too much texture, that really is the key! You want hydration but you don’t want your skin to be slippery and wet. The makeup will not stay in place all day if the skin is too hydrated. It is a delicate balance. These three have been a great mix for me!
On to foundation, I have tried a whole bunch of formulas lately but this Nars Light Reflecting Foundation has been the winner by far!! The formula is STUNNING! It is hydrating, super long-lasting, and still leaves the skin looking glowy and hydrated! It has great medium coverage and is easy to blend out! It doesn’t stick to my dry patches at all. Honestly, it’s probably one of the best foundations I have tried. It reminds me of the Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, which I also love but I think I may like the Nars Light Reflecting Foundation more. It is more hydrating and lasts ALL day. I am so happy I found this formula! I have shade Deauville which is a light foundation with more neutral undertones. I also have shade Fiji for summer a light to medium shade with warm undertones!
The Concealer combo I have been loving is the Charlotte Tilbury Color Corrector in shade fair ( this is the best color corrector out there, a super thin formula that packs a punch!) paired with the Make Up Forever Ultra HD Self-Setting Concealer in shade Cinnamon.
Bronzer is one of my favorite steps, it warms up any complexion and gives structure to the face. The Bronzer I have been loving with this look has been the Tarte breezy cream bronzer in shade Seychelles! This formula is just amazing. I am on my third one. I always go back to this formula. It is creamy, hydrating, and long-lasting! I love the color as well! It just looks like skin. It is amazing on fair to medium skin tones. Absolutely a favorite for me! I have backups in my makeup closet just in case they ever stop selling this bronzer.
My blush has been the Tarte Maneater Blush & Glow Cheek Plump in shade Pink! I don’t know why this product hasn’t been more popular. It is a gorgeous formula, It is a blush and highlighter all in one. It lasts too! There is a slight shimmer running through it that gives such a luminosity to the skin. I am really loving it! I also have the shade Buff which I use for a more nude-toned blush look! So gorgeous.
Instead of setting my whole face with a setting powder, I use 2 things – a *touch* of the amazing Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder under the eyes, and a teeny bit on the forehead and chin (My oily areas). This is a great way to set the skin with a more matte finish but naturally matte. It isn’t drying at all. To set the rest of my face I have been using the Charlotte Tilbury Glow Glide Face Architect Highlighter in shade Champagne Glow! This is such a unique formula. It is like a creamy setting powder but it is also a very natural candle-lit highlighter! I have been LOVING this formula. And it really sets the makeup in place. I will 100% be investing in this formula for my Pro Makeup Artist Kit soon!
After everything is set in place I top it all off with the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray! This step is *key* It is like the glue that holds it all together! It melts everything together to make everything look seamless and holds everything in place ALL DAY! I keep this in my personal and professional makeup kit! It is my secret weapon to all day flawless makeup! I honestly think everyone should have this setting spray!

So as you can tell, everything is pretty much a product to add hydration or glow in this makeup base ?❤️ My two favorite things! I also want to note – I rarely wear mascara during the week because my eyes have been hating any makeup on/around them ? BUT my favorite everyday lip combo to complete this look has been the NYX lip liner in Nude Beige ( The perfect affordable nude!) and the Charlotte Tilbury Hyaluronic Happikiss Lipstick Balm Crystal Happikiss! This lip balm is like adding instant hydration to the lips and it’s so JUICY! I am addicted to this duo!
