My Go To Hair Products!

This past year I have branched out to a few new hair products and I am so glad I did! I have super fine, frizzy hair. It’s an odd combination to have, so I always look for products to give me lift but also softness and sleekness. 

These are the products that have truly changed my hair game and I am obsessed!

Dry Shampoo – I have worked at salons for over 6 years and I have tried just about every dry shampoo under the sun it feels like but none have worked as well as the R+Co Skyline Dry Shampoo Powder. First off, I have to say – I love the packaging, not only is it beautiful but very functional. Most dry shampoo powders have a spout to dump into your hand and use from there but this one has a pump! It’s super simple to use and does not make a huge mess like other dry shampoo powders. I also love the texture of this product. It’s very finely milled, soft, and massages well without big white patches in your hair. This product truly extends the longevity of your “clean” looking hair! lol This product is a must-have for me in my hair care basket! 

Dry Texture Spray – I have been truly enjoying the Moroccanoil Dry Texture Spray. This product gives exactly what it is, dry texture! I love this product because it gives lightweight texture, It is great for fine hair because it doesn’t weigh your hair down at all without any stickiness or tacky texture at all. 

Root Booster – Because I have such fine hair I have to be very careful with root boosters because some of them are very tacky and heavy on the hair shaft BUT I think I have found the best product EVER –  Moroccanoil Root Boost! This product has truly changed my hair game! It gives amazing volume without the sticky texture. This one is a product I will always keep an extra of in my bag of favorites. 

Styling Cream – Moroccanoil Volume Thickening Lotion – This product works so well, I’m not sure how to explain it other than it makes my hair look and feel thicker. I always wanted to have fuller hair and this product really gives that illusion! I love it. 

Styling Cream – Living Proof has a great styling cream called Prime Style Extender. This product is a great all in one cream. This cream makes your hair silky soft, makes my hair feel and look hydrated, and really does make my hair look fresh longer. I use a dime size in the palm of my hand and run it through all my hair and blow dry it out! 

Hair Oil – If you suffer from dry hair, If you color your hair, or just use a lot of hot hair tools the Olaplex Bonding oil is a product you should definitely try! It’s a lightweight hair oil that helps protect your hair color, helps prevent frizz, and is a heat protectant. I color my hair and use hot tools frequently so I’m always looking for a good hair oil to help soften and improve the health of my hair. I love this oil because it helps hydrate my hair and gives shine but it doesn’t add any weight. A lot of hair oils can be too heavy for my hair and actually make my hair look greasy, I have found that this one doesn’t at all! It’s something I use every week without fail. A teeny amount goes a long way with this product so it will last you a while!
