Bridal Season is almost here!
Bridal season is almost here! My favorite time of year, when I can pull out all my favorite things – makeup, makeup, and more makeup! Bridal makeup has been my go to look for as long as I can remember. I love fresh, hydrated skin with a flush of color and loads of mascara! There is no better look to me. The first thing I think of for my bridal makeup kit is blush! Pops of juicy color on the cheeks and lips – It’s understated but so elegant! Blush is intended to warm up the skin, bring a natural flush and glow. Just a light swipe of color on the apples of the cheeks can really enhance any look , It’s the finishing touch! I have alot of favorites in this category for brides. There are so many beautiful formulas and colors now that I would suggest trying a few before your special day! Alot of colors can be scary in the box but once you take them out and apply them to your skin, you will be pleasantly surprised at how gorgeous they really are.
Some of my personal favorites that I use myself and use in my bridal kit I will list below for you girls so you can stop at Sephora and try them! These shades look stunning on almost every skin tone I have used them on!
- Bobbi Brown blush in Pale Pink – This is the perfect cool tone bright flush of color for almost every bride! It is my go to for just about every one of my clients!
- Nars blush in Orgasm – this is a great shade of a warm pink with shimmer running through. Perfect for a sunkissed summer bronze bride!
- BareMinerals Gen Nude Blush in Pink Me Up – This is a beautiful peachy pink. I have used this on many brides and it is stunning. It is a creamy matte formula, very long lasting!
- Mac Cosmetics Mineralize Blush in Warm Soul – This is a beautiful warm nude shade. Just gives a slight hint of color to the cheeks! Very luminous and glowy!
- Glossier Cloud paints – I love the shades Beam and Dusk! These are warm, matte, cream blushes. I love these for a creamy wash of color over the cheeks! These dry down beautifully! Great for any skin type.
- Steve Laurant Blush in Rose’ all day – Beautiful formula and a stunning shade of warm pink, mauve tones. I will forever have this blush in my kit!
These are just my personal favorites that I reach for the most for my bridal looks! What are your favorite blushes? Do you prefer a cream or powder formula?
Thank you for stopping by!
